Immortal AI Help & Safety
Something involving AI is happening to you or someone you care about. What should you do?
This page provides practical first steps and routes to specialist help for AI-enabled impersonation, deepfakes, intimate-image abuse, sextortion, scams, account compromise, online abuse and concerning AI influence.
If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact the emergency service in your country now. Immortal AI is an information service, not an emergency service, police agency, legal adviser or mental-health provider.

Do these things first
1. Slow the situation down
Do not let urgency, secrecy or embarrassment force a quick decision. AI-enabled scams and blackmail often rely on panic.
2. Stop harmful contact
Block or pause contact when it is safe to do so. If someone is blackmailing you for money or intimate content, do not pay or send more material.
3. Preserve useful evidence
Keep usernames, profile links, dates, messages, URLs, payment requests and screenshots of relevant context. Do not redistribute abusive material.
4. Secure your accounts
Change compromised passwords, use unique passwords, enable multi-factor authentication and review recovery details and active sessions.
5. Verify through another channel
If a voice, video or message claims to be from someone you know, contact that person using a number or account you already trust. Do not rely on the voice or image alone.
6. Tell someone
Bring in a trusted person, parent, carer, teacher, colleague or specialist service. Abuse becomes harder to control when you are not dealing with it alone.
Important when a child is involved: do not forward, copy or circulate sexual images of a child in an attempt to gather evidence. Record the account name, URL, message details and where the material appeared, and use a specialist reporting service or police guidance.
Find the situation
What is happening?
Someone is impersonating me or someone I know
Voice cloning, fake video, fake profiles and identity misuse can be used to demand money, damage reputation or manipulate family and colleagues.
Do: verify through a separate trusted channel, preserve account and message details, warn likely targets, report the fake account or content and secure affected accounts.
Someone is threatening or blackmailing me
Do not pay or provide more intimate content. Stop contact where safe, preserve the threat and account details, report the account and use the specialist services below.
If a child is being sexually extorted, involve a trusted adult and a child-protection reporting service as quickly as possible.
A real or AI-generated intimate image is being shared
Fake does not mean harmless. Specialist services can assist with reporting and removal of both genuine and synthetic intimate imagery.
Use the country and removal services below rather than repeatedly downloading or forwarding the material.
My child is involved
Stay calm and make clear that they are not in trouble. Avoid blame. Ask what happened, whether threats are continuing and whether the person knows their location or school. Help them report and secure their accounts.
Where grooming, sexual extortion or exploitation is suspected, use a specialist child-protection service or police reporting pathway.
I think AI is influencing someone I care about
Look for changes in behaviour rather than arguing about whether the AI is “real”. Ask what the system is telling them, whether it is encouraging secrecy, isolation, dependence, spending, risky behaviour or withdrawal from people they trust.
Keep the conversation open, reduce immediate risk and seek qualified professional help when there is serious distress, self-harm risk, delusional thinking, coercion or danger.
AI has affected my work, finances or access to a service
Ask the organisation for the decision, reasons and review process in writing. Keep records of applications, scores, correspondence and adverse outcomes. Where money or identity theft is involved, contact your bank or financial provider quickly and report the incident through your country’s fraud or cybercrime channel.

Accuracy & trust loop
How Immortal AI keeps this page defensible
Safety information can become harmful when it is outdated, overconfident or copied without checking. This page is maintained under a stricter standard than ordinary explanatory content.
- Primary source first. Government, regulator, law-enforcement and official service pages are preferred. Specialist non-profits are used where they operate the relevant reporting or removal service.
- Action claims are checked against the service itself. We verify what the organisation says it can receive, who is eligible and what action it offers.
- High-risk advice is conservative. We do not improvise legal, medical or emergency advice. When professional assessment is needed, we say so and route people to qualified services.
- Child-safety guidance gets an extra check. Instructions are written to avoid encouraging people to download, forward or redistribute sexual material involving children.
- Dates stay visible. Country links and material guidance carry a verification date so readers can judge freshness.
- Monthly review. Immortal AI checks links, service scope and major legal or policy changes every month, with urgent corrections made sooner when identified.
Last substantive verification: 30 July 2026.

About an Immortal AI Help Finder
Immortal AI may later add a guided Help Finder that lets a reader describe what happened and points them to the most relevant section and verified services. It will only be introduced when the underlying resource library is mature enough to support it.
The Help Finder will not replace this page, diagnose a person, provide improvised legal or medical advice, or invent support services. The verified resource library will remain the source of truth.
